The Honorable Lord Morgan of Osprey

Aka: The Sequined Scourge of the Seven Seas, The Magenta Marauder, Cutthroat Cutlass of Calais, The Puce Pirate, Keeper of the Cherry Armoire, also known as Morgan Lamae, and the Blue-Feather Brute.

Device: Vert, a paw print Or, within a border Erminoir.

Motto:  Asinum tuum quasi petaso geream (Can I wear your ass as a hat?)

I am proudly one of the founding members of House DragonOr.  Also being a proud member of Clan Gambit through the squirely association to my knight, Sir Loric Sylvestris, I fulfill my obligations of service through both of the highly service-oriented households.  I currently serve as Master Chirurgeon at large for the Kingdom of Meridies, but primarily serve both the Baronies of Osprey and Seleone in the chirurgeonal arts.

I have two personas:  My fighting persona is that of a 11th century Norman fighting alongside William the Conqueror.  I am an englishman but chose to fight alongside William due to a boon that my father owed him.  It was with WIlliam at the Battle near Hastings on October 14th, 1066, the day that King Harold, and England, fell from Saxon rule.  I also witnessed his coronation in Westminster Abbey on December 25th that same year.

My other persona (or party persona as it has been called) is that of a 16th century privateer in service to the British Crown, Her Majesty Elizabeth R.  Not wishing to bring my "liberal" religious views (I was neither Protestant nor Catholic), I went to sea where I could rule with greater liberty.  I sailed alongside Sir Francis Drake in 1587 in the surprise attack at Cadiz Harbor and served under him in the subsequent battles against the Spanish Armada, where he lost his life.  I continue to sail the seas in search of fun and profit.

My accolades include:
Award of Arms (AoA)
Companion of the Meridian Cross
Companion of the Order of the Argent Shield
Master Chirurgeon, Meridies
Grant of Arms
Order of the Broken Brank
Order of the Bough

My interests include, but are not limited to:
Armor making, Brewing and Vinting, the Chirurgeonal Arts, persona research, Filking, Writing, and the Bardic Arts.  I have published numerous articles of fiction, first aid information, camping information, and historic research.  I began experimenting with brewing and vinting with cordial making and wines and moved to meads and champagnes.  I knit chain mail and have produced leather armor for myself and others.  I have ventured into the world of feastcratting and soon wish to venture into autocratting as well.  I enjoy filking popular songs and have been the subject of one or two of them myself.  I take my personas seriously, but like to have some fun with them once in a while.
